I've been designing artwork for flying discs since around 1993.
I first played disc golf on an object courses in 1989 in Fraser, Colorado and was instantly hooked. The course was behind the YMCA running through the tall pine woods and open glades surrounded by snowcapped peaks. A few weeks later my friends asked me if I wanted to play another course with baskets. I asked them what a basket was? The rest is history. I and am a Legacy member of the PDGA. My journey since then has included tournament player, league coordinator, TD, graphic artist/illustrator and general disc golf enthusiast. I am a member of the disc golf course designers group, disc designers group and the Wisconsin Disc Sports Association in marketing and education roles. As a school teacher I get to introduce young people to the disc golf during the school year and for summer school. I enjoy playing competitively and introducing as many new people as I can to the sport. John Dorn #13295
